Course Manager's Update - Jim's Blog 28.3.14

Just a quick email this week to let you know a few things that have gone on over the last few days. The summer tees are now back in play as of this afternoon. They have been topdressed with sand this week and brushed in. The small amounts of sand that are left will soon disappear over the next few days.

The greens are still going through the recovery process from hollow coring and are healing well and have also been cut this week leading up to the Arthur Godlee Cup this Saturday.

Most areas on the course have been cut this week to improve appearance and definition as there is still not a great amount of growth yet.

After the last few months the course is slowly coming along and the main priority over the next few weeks will be to begin our fertilization programme on all of the playing surfaces to encourage some early season growth.

Enjoy your golf.
