Captains Day 2014

I would just like to thank all members who played and attended the dinner on Saturday for making my Captains Day, a very enjoyable one.

The weather was kind for a change on Saturday with no rain.  We had 19 teams of four and the format for the day was two scores to count on each hole.  The winning team was John Davies, Patrick Palmer, Bipen Patel and Stephen Ellis with a score of 83 points.  Well done to them.

The longest drive went to Mark Brown and nearest the pin on 14 went to Phil Casey.

The course as always was in great condition thanks to Jim and his team.

A big thank you to Pat and all her team for looking after us all day from breakfast to dinner, the food was excellent.

Once again thanks to everyone for making my Captains Day a day to remember.
