Club Night

Club Night this week was a very exciting affair with lots of members and lots of money up for grabs.  Strange that, isn’t it?

For eight weeks we have watched the Club Draw grow in value and by Thursday night there was £300 on the table.  The lucky HGC member picked was Rory Mackay (not Maclaren!) and out of his winnings he put £100 behind the bar for drinks.  How lovely was that, I knew I should have been there!

The Club Draw should have been the main event at £300 but it was slightly overshadowed by the fact last week the raffle money of £230 went unclaimed so would be added to this week’s.  Mo’s beer glass, whilst selling the tickets, must have been a sight for sore eyes as the final prize money stood at a whopping £727.  The lucky winner and, regular Club Night goer, was Vic Crutchley.  Many congratulations Vic.
