Club Night

Club Night was a pretty busy affair this week which is always great to see and I was told the lamb shanks in particular were fantastic, not only in size but taste also, so compliments to the girls in the kitchen.

For the first time in a while the Club Draw jackpot was larger than the raffle money at £250.  This week it was won by Mark Goodwin who, you ‘ve guessed it, was out of the room giving us a revised figure of £275 for next week.  There was some discussion last night as to whether only names at the beginning of the alphabet were being drawn but having checked the results over the last few months I can assure everyone this isn’t the case so just remember it could be you next but you need to be in the room!

Mo did another great job last night collecting the raffle which ended up at £228.  Week in, week out Mo arrives and eats early and on her own usually, so she can whizz round everyone before the draw at 8.30 but it’s not gone unnoticed Mo.  Thank you.

Back to the draw of £228 and it appears we have a, somewhat, lucky table in the room.  Over the past seven weeks, there have been four winners including this week, Gary Abraham, who is pretty much a newcomer to the table.  I have asked if any spare seats become available to let me know but in the meantime our congratulations go to Gary on his good luck.

Next week is the start of a new sassy menu for dinner although I’ve been told it maybe tweaked slightly between now and then but as of today it looks like this
