A new agreement for Home Farm was under discussion and the Committee wanted restrictions concerning the Police Dogs to be incorporated into it.
Membership was agreed it begins on receipt of the subscription.
The Treasurer reported the bar takings were up for the first fifteen weeks and if it kept at this level there might be a total rise of £600 on the year. Subscriptions were 94% in. House expenses were up £350 on last year and still increasing.
It was proposed and agreed that the Finance Committee should be responsible for getting back shares in the Club held by members who resigned.
The Captain asked all present to consider for the next meeting the question of how late the Pros Shop should be kept open.
The Greens reported that most of the trees and all the bulbs had now been planted and the President congratulated the Committee on all their work in the last year.
There were two male resignations.
The Secretary was asked to write to a potential member who was interviewed the month before, offering to place his name on the waiting list but to point out the length of the list. Two other male interviewees were to be refused and one married couple were to be invited for interview.
Mr Fraley suggested some of the Committee should go to the Assistant Pro’s Tournament to study the arrangements for when HGC were to hold the event in 1966.
Finally the President wished to state how much he had enjoyed being President for the past year and thanked all members of the Committee for their work during the year. On behalf of members of the Committee Mr Fraley wished to thank the President for his genial Chairmanship.
