The Treasurer stated that things were going along steadily but said that house expenses should be carefully watched.

The Chairman of the Committee, Mr F Woodhouse, reported that the subscription position was satisfactory.

The Captain, Mr D Evans, suggested that to help starting problems on Sundays, it might be an idea to change the winter four ball competition into foursomes next winter.  Further discussions would take place later in the year.

It was also suggested that Wednesday team dates should in future years only be arranged after consultation with House and Entertainment Committees to avoid any clash of dates.

The President reported that the scheme for the Honours Board was still under discussion.  He asked for approval of the scheme to install a loud speaker system in the lounges costing about £90.  After discussion it was proposed by Mr F Woodhouse and 2nd by Mr W S Fraley that this be brought up again at the next meeting.

Dr M C Treacy enquired about the re-surfacing of the car ark before the present surface deteriorated.  The Secretary was asked to find out the cost.

Mr L Hale reported at the great success of the Annual Dinner Dance, mentioning that a record number had been seated.  He wanted to express appreciation of the Variety, the cost of which the President had defrayed.

One full and one five day member had been accepted and two men were invited for interview whilst three new lady members were accepted as full lady members.
