1st Winter Stableford Result

A field of 30 set out on the First of the five monthly Winter Stableford  - minus Shanti who had car problems and Dave Mackay (buggies not allowed!).

The weather conditions were ok to start with but the early arrival of persistent drizzle put a damper on proceedings with a few groups deciding to retreat to the comfort of the clubhouse.

Those who did complete the round found conditions and scoring difficult.

1st  John Chan        35 points

2nd  Hugh Jenkins  34 points

3rd  Bob Wright      32 points

Front 9   John Sharpe   18 points (on count back to the final hole).

Back 9   Bob Payne      17 points
