Harborne Golf Club are the first Birmingham based golf club to adopt a fully analytical golf handicap system for members to view individual or groups of returned scorecards. The system has been developed by Intellignet Golf and now holds over 6000 rounds of golf for existing members.
All competitions are capable of using our powerful and flexible signup process, both in the clubhouse and from anywhere via the internet, with most of the formats available for full player score input via the touchscreen.
Fully compliant competition and handicap handling of medals, stablefords, par/bogeys and many other common formats
Open and transparent handicapping - all members are able to view their full handicap history online, and see every little 0.1 increase or otherwise
Constantly accurate handicap lists, with custom searches for each section
Location independent handicap administration; club officials can perform key tasks from anywhere in the world with internet access
Members are able to download and save their own handicap certificate, whether they are at home or on holiday in Portugal
Since the system is built around competition results for handicapping, all the data that is needed is added automatically. Once that information is there they are able to:
Look at the competition results from qualifiers and non-qualifiers as soon as it is published - members even get an email to tell them when if they like
Don't settle for summary information, they can view the actual cards submitted, and see how everyone's handicap is affected - instantly!
Analyse their golfing performance, hole by hole, round by round
Compare themselves against other members to get the lowdown on matchplay tactics
Book themselves, and if permitted by the club, their playing partners, into competitions from the comfort of their home or the convenience of their office, with email notifications on entry - Selected Competions only.

Many clubs talk about having a member's website or section, and while they are always greeted with enthusiasm at first, as the site goes slowly out of date the excitement wanes. Harborne Golf Club's web site is different - we run all your competitions, so the data is always there. Members login in droves, since its installation in March 2009 over 12,500 logins have been registered by members. (Nov '09).
