Seniors Texas Scramble

Twenty six seniors braved the onset of Storm Henry to take part in the Stableford this morning.

Playing in threes, the best score counts on the first six holes, the best two on the middle six and then all to count on the last six. An interesting challenge to the seniors in terms of the score card completion and the golf!

In a close fought contest the winners were John Geobey, Martin Bushell and Paul Millard with 70 points. Runners up with 68 points were Bal Johal, Geoff Herrington and, on his Seniors debut, Nick Brown.

The newly elected vice captain, Dave Bates, also made his debut as stand in Captain for the day.
