Seniors Draw Away from Home

The Harborne team arrived at Sandwell with great enthusiasm in spite of the rather prolonged and heavy showers which persisted for the first few holes – however things improved, the clouds cleared and everyone enjoyed the competition, camaraderie and the food.

The major incident of note was that Mike Hurley brought his new remote controlled trolley with him, however on the second tee it did not obey his instructions to 'wait' and hit him in the back as he was about to tee off!

As ever Sandwell were great hosts and even allowed a drawn contest. Harborne regard an away draw as a moral ‘win’ – so a good day was had by all.
