Club Night

Club Night was a very quiet affair this week but I think that’s partly due to a few members, including the Captain, being away on a golfing break. 

Mark Lawrence stood in and did a great job of MC for the night in the Captain’s absence.  Chris Stokes’ name was pulled for the club draw of £250 but unfortunately was out of the room so next week’s jackpot of £275 will be the biggest pool of money the draw has had in well over four months. 

Despite lower member numbers this week the raffle was a respectable £215 and won by Mark Ward who happened to be sitting on the same table as Mark Lawrence but I can assure everyone there was no fix!
