MIXED Section

Welcome to the Mixed Section of Harborne Golf Club.This particular section of the golf club is a very social form of golf, with six friendly matches during the year with other well established Midlands courses, with return matches the following year. This section is open to all members of the golf club.

Mary and Adam Fraise are your organisers and they would welcome your support for the coming season.If you are interested in playing all or even a few matches during the year please make sure that your name is on Fixture Sheet in the Ladies Lobby area, ticking which matches you would be able to attend.

Matches will commence in April finishing in August.

Mixed Section Format

During the year the Mixed team will have matches against the following clubs:The Vale GC;Stourbridge GC;The Warwickshire GC;Forest of Arden GC;Droitwich GC; Handsworth GC.

Played from Midday on Sunday afternoons the matches are then followed by a two course dinner.Costs for golf and dinner is around £15 per match. The organisers will look at the members sheet in the Ladies Lobby area and will generally select a team of twelve players, although this may vary on certain matches.Six pairs (mixed), matches are then played in various formats. Shots will be given at 90% of the difference off the lowest handicapped player.

Players who put their names down to play will be selected to play the return match.
