Thank you for your entry into our Cheltenham Gold Cup Golf Day on Friday 15th March 2019.


Competitor Information - The competition is a Pairs Betterball Stableford, with all players receiving a handicap allowance of 90% of their playing handicap.  Preferred lies are in operation & players may lift, clean & place their ball within 6 inches of where it lay on any closely mown surface within the General Area of the Course.  Tees of the day will be Red for Ladies & Yellow for Men.


Pace of Play - 58 teams are entered to play & all players are asked to play without undue delay.  If you can't score on a hole, please pick up & move on.  Keep up with the group in front at all times.


Recording - Completed scorecards should be returned to the Scorecards box on the Bar immediately after your round where a scoreboard will be updated.


Course Restrictions - Competitors will be notified of any course restrictions on Thursday 14th March via email, but if you plan on using a trolley or buggy, please keep them well away from tees & green surrounds.  In order to protect the course we encourage competitors to carry their golf bag if possible.


The running order for the day is as follows:

 

From 7.15am - Breakfast is served in the Dining Room.

From 7.45am - Registration, Payment of Entry Fees & Collection of Scorecards in the Clubhouse.

8.35am - Shotgun start for Holes marked "a".

8.45am - Shotgun start.

1.00pm - Lunch served in the Dining Room on a rolling basis.

1.30pm - Racing starts (Shown in both the Members Lounge & Dining Room).

2.30pm - Presentation of Golf Prizes.

2.40pm to 5.30pm - Racing shown on both TV's.
